Frequently asked questions

Learn more about providing work-from-home customer service.

What do we do?

Top companies outsource their call volume through Arise Virtual Solutions. Arise then works with companies like ANW Virtual Solutions to connect people working from home with clients who need services. You certify for the company you choose and take inbound customer service calls from your home. Think of it as your own call center at home: you choose who you provide services for, how much you work, and manage yourself.

Can I work from anywhere?

You must legally reside in the United States and be 18 years or older. You can provide your services from anywhere that is open to new applications, and you can bring your work with you if you move.

Eligible states include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

How much can I work?

Your compensation is up to you. You choose the client you want to service, set your own schedule, and choose when and how much you work. Your paycheck is up to you.

How long is training?

Training times and course length are based on the client. You can choose a class time that works for you based on the client's availability.

Am I an employee or an independent contractor?

You will operate as an Independent Contractor (1099). You are not an employee of ANW Virtual Solutions, Arise, or the client you service. This gives you the freedom to choose which client you work for, set your own schedule, and manage your business operations. You are entirely responsible for your own taxes.

What equipment do I need to get started?

To service clients on the platform, you must have a distraction-free home office setup. Mandatory equipment includes:

  • A desktop or laptop computer. Chromebooks, tablets, and Macbooks without BootCamp are not supported.
  • A hard-wired, high-speed internet connection. Wi-Fi is not supported.
  • A USB headset with a microphone for training.
  • A hard-wired telephone, dedicated landline, and telephone headset, required by some but not all clients.
  • Dual monitors are highly recommended.
